frying tasty termites

they are one of my favorites. a western Kenya delicacy. once you have enough of them to be satisfied. remove the wing or just fry them with wings. a little oil n heat source is best. Note: don't wash them, make sure you fry them dry. sun dried is the best.just make sure they are near crisp and salt to taste. same way you fry ground nuts. can be eaten with ugali or as break fast with anything. best organic source of raw proteins. there are rumors it is a cure for some incurable diseases#inbox me for info. enjoy

how i cook sossi

wait till oil is hot add onions, when they near to brown add in sossi. let it fry to crisp. then remove put aside. add some oil and onions and tomatoes fry to a paste then add the crisp sossi, let it be for a minute forming a sause. can be eaten with anything but rice is the best but so is ugali. but try rice. note: enjoy.

pancakes

they are easy to make about five minutes. that's why they are mostly breakfast menu. so take flour and some milk or warm water. add some sugar to taste, make a very light paste .to cook. make hot oil in a fry pan pour some paste in oval shape on the pan. let it turn light brown on one side then flip over. have fun flipping. when done you can eat with anything from  honey coffee to soup. avocado just anything that suites you. Note: enjoy. drop a question if in doubt.

bone soup

soup bone is easy. just clean some bones you want to extract soup from. make sure they have some meet on them or better some marrow . to add flavor,  you have to boil the bones until a thick soup forms. add spices or just salt to  taste. make sure you sieve the bone mixture to get soup only. mix the soup well. one typical Kenyan way is to put soup in a jerrycan then shake in a rhythmic way. note: inbox me for how it is done. enjoy!

kachumbari. kenyan salad

these are basically vegetables mixed raw together. mainly tomatoes, onions, coriander , cabbage and little salt. you have to fine chop them to get the desired exotic taste.some people simmer but its not kachumbari unless its all raw. can be added to any main dish to add flavor. delicious flavor

blended juice

take for example oranges. take like 4 ripe oranges. slice them peel them. put the slices into the blender whether manual squeezer or electric one squeeze or  blend until its liquid. add some water. add sugar if you want more sweetness or maybe some honey. sieve to extract fibers and and pure orange juice. can be drunk right away or let it cool in a fridge, or add ice cubes for a more refreshing natural juice.
